Thanksgiving Day

We had a very quiet Thanksgiving Day! I miss the busyness of a lot of people spending the day together, but it was a nice day and we were happy to have my inlaws here with us.

Aren't these little pilgrims sweet?

 

I sure wish their big sister had been here with us! I was missing her very badly that day. Her little turkey spreader that we always use for our cheese ball was a sweet reminder of her.

 

 

The little ones made these napkin holders at a Home Depot workshop recently. They were so cute on the table!

 

Little Man woke up from his nap to company here and Thanksgiving dinner on the table. He wasn't sure what to think!

 

 

I love that she wanted to wear her bonnet for dinner!

 

Grandaddy & Grandmother

 

After we ate dinner, we played some football, baseball, and rode bikes.

 

 

I love this picture! This captures Jonathan and his Dad perfectly. Jonathan is cracking up and I can just hear his Dad getting Curly and saying, "SAY UNCLE!!"

 

 

And we finished the night off with sparklers! Who says they are just for July 4th?

 

 

Just before bed we read The Elf Story. He should be showing up any day now!

Can't wait to see what he'll be up to this year!
