Thanksgiving Prep

Just as I thought we were getting over the sickness in our home, we started round two! Little Man got the stomach bug that his sister had and she got the cold and cough that he had.  Jonathan had a cough and cold and I got a sinus infection. I spent a couple days laid out like this last week with a lot of sinus pressure and a painful, aching left eye. It felt much better if it was forced to stay closed so I rigged up this face mask.
(My husband said if I didn't share this picture with everyone he was going to!)

 

We've seen a lot of tissues, thermometers, and medicine over the past couple weeks...

 

 

About the time I was feeling really bad, these two were starting to feel a lot better. They were getting a little stir crazy! So I sent them out to play on the porch and get some fresh air.

 

 

The day before Thanksgiving I was finally up and around a bit but still not feeling well. Jonathan helped clean the house up and I had a lot of kitchen help that day too. Curly got all dressed up and helped make the cheeseball.

 

 

And this guy helped me make iced tea. Then he washed, washed, and rewashed his hands for about thirty minutes. He cannot get enough of that for some reason!

 

 

And they worked together and washed all the dishes for me.

 

They had so much fun and it really helped me quite a bit!
