A Year Ago

     This poor neglected blog!

We are ten days into a new year and I have not posted once. I have a lot to catch up on so stay tuned for that.  I can't help but post a few pictures of what we were doing a year ago today. Today the high temperature is 62 degrees which is unbelievable considering last year we had just had a major winter storm and a lot of snow. Last year at this time, we were out sledding and playing in the snow.

And this girl went crazy ALL DAY LONG. I had to tell her to come in and thaw out throughout the day.

These two had no idea they were in for the ride of their life.

We were going to let them slide across the front yard which is a slight hill, but there was so much ice that they just took off so fast straight for the woods. Jonathan was running after them, slipping and sliding all over the place, but he caught them in time. 

They were so pitiful! We always look back at these pictures and smile though. It was such a sweet and funny memory.

Wow - look at them! Two little babies. They sure have grown up a lot in a year.

That was a day of fun and one we'll always remember. And to top it off Auburn won the National Championship that night. It was a perfect day!
