The First 11 Days

I can't believe we are eleven days into a new year already!
Here's a recap of what we've been up to so far in 2012.

Auburn won the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on New Year's Eve. The little Tigers supported their team on New Year's Day.

Here's the boys watching some football. There were so many games on the first week of this month! Looks like Daddy is catching a nap.

Little Man is always working. He stays busy with whatever he can find. He got out all of his tools and was working on my couch the other day. The cushions were thrown off and he was working hard.

It's been so warm for January so we've been able to be outside a lot more than we usually are in the winter. Curly-Q loves her Big Wheel (and so does her brother). It's been great that they've been able to get outside a lot.

They love sidewalk chalk. This is her drawing from yesterday. I'm sure you can guess who it is. Hint: she has very, very long blonde hair.

AJ started back to school this week. She's been running with a friend in hopes of getting in shape for the cross country season in the fall. She finished her first semester of high school with a 3.7 grade point average. We're so proud of her for working hard and staying focused! And this is the year she's going to let me take more pictures of her and quit hiding from the camera! Right, AJ?

Jonathan is beginning a temporary job with our neighbor tomorrow. He'll be working in the city installing GPS systems for a couple weeks. This job possibility has been in the works for months. We're so happy to see it finally happening and thankful for the income.

I am busy cleaning out the clutter! I hope to simplify my life a lot this year. I have sold a few things locally this week. One of them was the baby bassinet. Just had to take a picture of them with their bassinet before it left our house.

I am also getting ready to sell in another children's clothing consignment sale. I am participating in a Clutter Free Challenge that started this week. It is a 15 day challenge. I figure even if it takes me 15 weeks that will still be progress.

Until next time....
