Here we are at the end of another year!
Where does the time go?
What a year 2011 has been! I'm ready for 2012 for sure.
Today we went to a "Noon" Year's Eve party for children.
My friend, Amanda, hosted the party at her neighborhood clubhouse/restaurant.
Such a cute idea and a fun way to celebrate a new year with children who are too young to be up at midnight on New Year's Eve.

Here they are....all ready to party!
We counted down to noon, blew horns, and then all of the balloons dropped at noon.
That's Curly in the green dress and Buddy Boy next to her in the overalls.
They loved that there were balloons everywhere! After the balloon drop, we all toasted to 2012. Curly didn't care for the sparkling cider, but this little man sure did! He kept drinking it and saying, SPICY!!
We ate lunch and visited with friends after we rang in the New Year.
We hung out at home all afternoon. Little Man took a long nap! I guess all the partying did him in today! After naps, we ordered Mexican takeout. Before bed, we partied a little more with popcorn while we watched Auburn play in the Chick-Fil-A Bowl on our new TV.
Can you tell we are used to having a very small TV and sitting up close to see it?
We have some adjusting to do!

And I managed to catch a quick picture of this on the go teenager as she was on her way out the door to babysit tonight.
So long to this year! I'm gladly welcoming 2012.
Happy New Year, Everyone!
