It is HOT!!!

The heat index has been between 105 and 110 for the past couple days! Absolutely miserable to say the least. Miserable as in let's stay inside all day and maybe sneak out briefly just before bedtime.  I heard on the radio today that the forecast for tomorrow is a high of 84 degrees. That would be so nice! We shall see...

Lady and the Tramp is the current favorite movie around here. Also referred to as "Herman and the Dog".  I have no idea why. Curly cracks up at the part where the two Siamese cats are singing, "We are Siamese if you please", etc. It reminds me of my Mom singing that part!

The other day a salesman asked Curly how old she is. After she answered, he asked her how old her brother is and she said in the most serious voice, "He is 15 months." The man smiled and wasn't sure he'd heard her correctly. He asked again and she answered exactly the same. He just smiled and laughed to himself. I'm sure he never expected that answer from her.

In just a few weeks, Big Sis starts high school. (That is actually hard for me to type!). Next week she goes to Freshman Fest at school. It's a BBQ and get to know you type event I think. And they get a free class of 2015 shirt. Seriously...2015 is right around the corner!

Lately Curly has been asking if she can have some John's Baby Lotion. She really loves John's lotion. It smells so good!

Brother's little personality is coming out. He is a busy little guy and can nearly outrun me. He always says, " HEEEEYYYYY" when he sees people in stores or even to us if we walk in the room. Whenever he drops food on the floor he immediately calls out, "DAISY!" so she can come eat it. He loves following his sisters around and I think he especially loves Big Sister. He will cuddle up with her and lie there so still!

Curly was talking about boys and girls the other day and was going through all the people in her family. "I am a girl, Daddy is a boy, etc." She completely skipped me and I said, And me! I'm a girl. She started laughing and said, "No, you are a Mom!"

In case you don't know, the lady on the left is Laurie Berkner. She sings children's songs and has DVDs out. And as you can see she has very curly hair. I'm talking wringlet type curls.

The other day our little girl's hair was so curly. Jonathan and I both commented on it and one of us said, "Your hair is so curly right now. Curly like Laurie Berkner." And she said, "NOOOO!!! Not Laurie Berkner hair!" She is quick with the comebacks. I think she got that from her Daddy!
