Strawberries

Yesterday we picked strawberries at a local farm with some of our friends.

Buddy boy rode along in the wagon and picked leaves and ate them while we picked berries.

Sweet Pea did a great job picking strawberries.

Mostly she just wanted to hold the basket herself.

They are so proud of themselves!

It took a while to fill up the basket because I lost my picking partner along the way.

They left all of the Moms to pick the strawberries by ourselves while they ran up and down the rows of strawberry plants.

I left with a huge basket of berries and two tired children!

Not sure what we'll do with all of these strawberries! We'll eat some, freeze some for smoothies, and I might attempt making some strawberry preserves.
