We had a birthday party to go this afternoon. It was a swimming/water play party and Little Bit needed a bathing suit. First thing this morning, we headed to the mall to get a bday gift and a bathing suit.Well, she was not having a good morning, didn't look well, and cried and cried. I knew when a Chick Fil A lemonade didn't help we had a problem! I kept thinking we'd probably skip the party and then she said, "I don't feel good to go to this bday party!" So, the decision was made. We decided to come home and hang out today. We did find a cute, ruffly, polka dot bathing suit today though so she is ready to swim!
Today was the Kentucky Derby!
Someday I'm going to get a really great dress, hat, and shoes and I'm going! Who wants to come with me? I love watching all the coverage of the derby and hearing the stories of the jockeys. My Mom and I always pick a horse to win. Sometimes we are lucky, but not today.

I loved the FEMALE jockey, Rosie Napravonik, and that she was racing among all of the male jockeys. She was just happy to be there and humble about being a female among males.
I definitely loved her bright pink and orange outfit and helmet too!
I also chose Midnight Interlude.
Honestly, I just chose this horse for no other reason than the name.
