Look what we found!
I've heard about this place for a couple years and finally found out where it is located. Today we took a short road trip. Who knew that way back behind an old cemetary, this little gem would be hidden....
It is a perfect little place. The water is shallow enough for little ones to wade and then closer to the waterfall it is about four feet deep. It's crystal clear and freezing COLD!
The Littles had a lot of fun splashing around.
Our Girl was not intimidated by the cold water one bit.
The temperature was a little shocking at first.
Buddy was not sure what to think when his feet first touched the water. Then he got comfortable and wanted down.
I just about couldn't do it! I'm not really a fan of cold water.
But my feet actually went numb after a minute or so it wasn't too bad.
And I couldn't miss the great photo op!
It was a perfect place for some nice photos!
We will definitely be going back! I am thinking we will be going back around noon on a hot summer day. And when we go back we are taking the Big Sis with us. I betcha she'll go into the deeper water near the falls. She's brave like that!
