Earrings

One of Curly's Christmas gifts was getting her ears pierced. We put a card in her stocking for Christmas that said she could get her ears pierced in Florida. She talked about it the whole way there and wanted to go right away when we got there. After we got settled and ate dinner, we went to the mall.  

She was sure she wanted to do it! They gave her a bear to hold while she waited. 

She was getting a little nervous as she watched the girl get everything ready.

She was so shocked and pitiful when they did her piercings! It was hard to watch. She was so upset and all she wanted was her blanket which we left at home. She cried for a while and then we got a cookie and that seemed to be a good distraction.

She picked light pink earrings and loves them. She has showed everyone everywhere we've gone. It's been really sweet to watch her. Her dimple shows and she said, "Well, I finally got my ears pierced!"

Such a big girl!
