Valdosta

We spent the weekend with my parents in Valdosta.
Not much to do in Valdosta, but it was great to just be together and spend time with them.

We found the historical area of the city on Saturday and walked around for a while.
The background was great for pictures.

This one I'll always treasure!

Little Man was really excited when he found a bunch of "pacoons" (acorns)!
Papa taught him how to put his treasures in his jean pockets so we went back to the hotel with two pockets full of pacoons!

And they loved looking down into the sewer covers and yelling and listening to their echos.

We hung out at the hotel Saturday afternoon and played with acorns while Papa and Big Sister ran around town for a little while looking for trouble. Then we all got ready for dinner. We walked to Texas Roadhouse which was right next door to our hotel.

Wondering why Big Sis is smiling so big? Because this is what happened right before I took the picture.  Papa kissed her on the cheek!

Thanks, Mom and Dad for meeting up with us! It was a long drive for a short visit, but very worth it! When can we do it again?
