Look out Pre-K!
Here comes our Curly-Q!
We registered Curly-Q for Pre-K Monday morning. She stayed busy coloring this picture while I filled out all of the paperwork and then we took a tour of the school.
She was very quiet during the tour and had just enough of a smile hidden that the dimple on her cheek was showing. She listened closely and never said a word. We saw the classrooms, music room, computer lab, and where we drop off and pick up. The classes are small which I like. There are only eight students per class. They will have chapel and learn a Bible verse weekly. I felt really good about it and think it is going to be a great adventure for her!
She is ready to start now and can't understand why she has to wait until September.
On our way home, I was talking to her about school and she finally spoke up with one question...."How will I know where my teacher is and how to find my room?" I assured her that I'd walk her in on the first day and she said, "Why? That's just what Moms do?"
I can feel it already...I'm going to shed a few tears that first morning!
(I may have shed a couple writing this post!)
