Friday night, the girls and I went to an annual cookie swap hosted by a neighbor.
I overheard Curly saying to her brother that morning, "I'm really sorry you can't go. It is just for girls. It is such a shame and I really wish you could go." They are becoming good friends and enjoying each other's company.

BUT it was a girl's night so off we went.

Can you tell she was just a little bit excited to be there?

Lots of beautiful cookies....so many creative ideas...

And she even met a new friend from our neighborhood.

I'm so thankful for our neighborhood. It's a great place to live and we've been blessed with great neighbors!
