This year we heard about a light display at a college in a nearby town and decided to check it out on Saturday night. It was so beautiful! I can't believe we never knew about it before now!
And the best part is that is is very affordable unlike so many other light displays around our city. You drive through the campus and there are huge displays on both sides of the street.
These trees made such a beautiful display. There were so many of them on one side of the street going up a hill. I couldn't get a great picture no matter how hard I tried. I even stood up in the car and took one out the sunroof.
This one gives you a better idea of what it looked like, but it was taken through the front window of the car.
There is also a section that you can walk through and we missed the parking for it. We are going to try to go back again before the season is over so we can walk through that section and get Curly-Q the funnel cake that she wouldn't stop begging for. She thought we should get one "because her Dad likes them". Uh..huh!
We went to a live nativity at a nearby church Sunday evening. The preacher was reading from Luke and began talking about celebrating Jesus' birthday. Curly got very excited and said he wants us to celebrate with him. She loves the manger scene and is very interested in all of the different babies that play Baby Jesus. She thought this one in particular was very sweet!
They loved the animals too. She really wanted to pet the sheep but was a little nervous.
And this wild man has no fear. He just went right up to the animals.
This goat he was trying to feed was very well fed and not very interested.
