Jiminy was found on our kitchen counter on Christmas Eve morning.
He had made reindeer food and left bags of it for Curly & The Boy to use that evening. These were the instructions on the bag:
On Dec. 23, the elf was on the counter with friends and was wearing Sleeping Beauty's skirt.
We had a quick breakfast on the 24th and headed right out to the hospital to get Brother's stitches removed. Here's a before picture of him while eating breakfast.
And the after picture:
He did fairly well getting them removed but he did cry which really upset Curly-Q. I was holding him down with one hand and comforting her with the other as she clung to my leg and cried. If he cries, she cries and vice versa. This incident has been really upseting for her perhaps because she saw it happen. So after it was all said and done, they deserved a special treat. Yes, we got them ice cream before lunch that day!
We spent the rest of the morning getting last minute things done for Christmas and doing a little baking.
Jonathan's parents came over that afternoon and we all went to Christmas Eve service at church at 5:30. Everyone looked so nice dressed up for church and I was glad to get some good family pictures. I look at these and can't believe this is my family of three children. And I can't believe how quickly they are growing up - especially AJ.
Look at these three!
We are so blessed!
We are so blessed!
After church, we came home, got changed, and quickly put our reindeer food out.
They both thought it was so fun. They were really giggly and excited.
Curly was really excited that Jesus' bday was the next day and happy that we could celebrate it. She didn't nap and she was just about delirious before she went to bed.
They were off to bed quickly and early because we had lots of work to do before Christmas morning.
