We had a rainy Christmas this year. Last year it snowed all day and this year it rained the entire day! When the little ones woke up on Christmas morning, they found these gifts waiting for them. They stayed busy with them while they waited for everyone else to get ready to open gifts.
Little Man knew just what to do this year. He loved opening his gifts more than anything else. He liked what he got but he was just happy to be tearing the wrapping paper open.
One of his favorite gifts was his Cars slippers. He took his sleeper off, put his slippers on and marched all around the house saying, "My cars! My cars!"He was so proud!
He spent most of the day riding his tricycle around the house...with his slippers on!
And let me tell you, the boy can go! And what I love best is that he comes to an immediate stop just before he runs into my cabinets, refrigerator, etc.
Curly-Q was especially thrilled with the lotion Gran and Papa sent her. She's happy to have her very own lotion and asks for it multiple times a day.
She was so excited when she opened up her Little Mermaid doll.
And someone else really liked her doll too!
She was sweet and shared her once the newness wore off.
AJ got a Kindle this year!
And she got some clothes and perfume.
Being so mechanical, she is in heaven on Christmas Day!
When she wasn't on her Kindle,
she helped her brother with his remote control car...
Built his car track...
And built her sister's baby crib.
Curly really loved getting her crib all set up. While she was getting blankets and things for her doll, her brother was carefully filling the crib up with his toys --- a truck, a bat, etc. Boy was she surprised when she came back to the crib to put her baby in it.
The rain never let up all day so we bundled up and took their new bikes into the garage that afternoon and let them ride. Curly was riding her big wheel in circles while her Daddy was chasing her. She was going too fast and her back tires spun around and made a loud noise. Her mouth was wide open in surprise and she said, "My bike just burped! It went buuuurrrrrrrpppp!" We were all cracking up at her.
Jiminy showed up in our Christmas tree on Christmas morning. We read The Elf on the Shelf book again in the evening and we all said goodbye to Jiminy and blew him kisses before bed that night. He sure made this holiday season a lot of fun!
