What a full day we've had!

AJ finished her first semester as a high school freshman!

She's had exams all week. Since she is exempt from tomorrow's exam, she doesn't have to go to school at all tomorrow. Her Christmas Break began early and after school she was off to a friend's house to spend the night.

Jonathan took Curly-Q to story time at the library this morning while I grocery shopped with Little Man. While at the library, they were reminded that tonight they were having story time with Mrs. Clause.  We hadn't planned on going because she has ballet until 5:30 on Thursdays but all day long she asked about it. She kept saying, "Is it 6:00? Story time with Mrs. Clause is at 6:00." So we squeezed it in this evening.

We got a fun gift in the mail yesterday. It was The Elf on the Shelf. I'll explain all about it in tomorrow's post. We started this new Christmas tradition today and it has been so much fun already!

After ballet tonight we quickly headed back to story time at the library. And the whole way there you know who was saying, "Is it 6:00 yet?" I think she was mostly excited about wearing her pajamas to story time. When we got there, Mrs. Clause was running around acting out the gingerbread man story, and you can just guess who thought that looked like a bunch of fun and started running himself. They were cute in their pj's and had fun! After the stories, they served punch and cookies.
