{ Our Weekend }

This weekend was fun!
Friday night I went to a goodbye party for my friend, Harmony. She's moving to North Carolina in ten days. It was a girl's night at her house and we had such a great time!
We ate, talked, prayed for Harmony, played a game, and laughed....A LOT!
I think we all realized
that we don't do that often enough!
A friend took this picture of us.
I'm sure going to miss her!

On Saturday morning, we said our farewell to Fall.
While Jonathan blew leaves into piles in the backyard, we had a little picnic lunch on the back porch.

Once he had a huge pile of leaves, we went out to jump in them. AJ didn't want to jump in them so she was my videographer.

The little guy was not sure what to do so he just followed his sister. Whatever she did, he did. And she couldn't get enough! She jumped, and jumped, and jumped!!

After a while, he got tired of the leaves and started wandering around.

Then he got to work! The boy is very serious about his work!

We went to church Sunday morning. While I was trying to get this stinker dressed, he ran off and this is how he looked the next time I saw him. He can't get enough of his boots!

He's starting to like going to church (I think). He hasn't cried for the past three weeks when I've put him into his class. Today I told him he would see his friends at church and he started saying, "Church!" and then his friends names, "Mart" (Mark) and "Boopber" (Cooper). He is talking up a storm lately. Repeating everything we say and naming everything himself.

After church, like a crazy woman, I went to Walmart to get what we need for Thanksgiving. Everyone else in town was there too! I had AJ with me to help which made it go a little quicker.

So, now that nearly all the leaves are off the trees and we have jumped in them, I guess winter is on it's way! I'm never ready for winter, but I am looking forward to decorating for Christmas!
