Life can get a little crazy at times.
When we came home from our trip, Curly-Q was sick and the Boy was (still is) getting his molars. AND the time changed!
We timed that one perfectly! Go on a trip, come home with miserable kids, and set your clocks back an hour. The time change has really thrown things off around here. For some crazy reason, our son thinks 4:00 a.m. is a great time to wake up now.
We lay him back down and it's just hit and miss from then until morning.
And now I have a terrible cold/cough/sinus infection? Not really sure!
The leaves are quickly falling! It's like a strong wind blows and another tree is bald!
One of my good friends is moving away very soon.
Jonathan hasn't had any job leads.
And I can feel the winter blues creeping up on me.
Life is just a bummer sometimes!
Thankfully, we know that God is in control of all of it and wants the best for us.
He knows our every thought and need.
I can't imagine living without that reassurance!
I just need to work on continually giving every care to Him and stop worrying over it all.
I saw this quote this week and loved it:
Have courage for the great sorrows of life and patience for the small ones. And when you have finished your daily task, go to sleep in peace. God is awake!
- Victor Hugo
Here's what we have been up to lately:
We've been doing a lot of puzzles.
Getting outside when the weather is nice.
Movies by the fire with popcorn.
Singing in Daddy's music studio
Playing the guitar and violin
Doing computer work (when he is not supposed to be)
Watching movies on the computer
Taking a picture at 11:11 on 11/11/11
(AJ did this for me after I went to bed!)
Reading books on Sunday morning before church.
And playing SUPERMAN!
