We spent a long weekend at the lake in Alabama for July 4th. We spent a lot of time in the pool and the kids had fun with their cousins. These two three year olds stayed very busy playing together.
It's funny how things change from year to year. We used to stay so busy with these three and now they are all teenagers (almost 13, 14, and 15) and they are much more low key. They all like to sleep late and their days are calmer than in years past. They mostly swam in the pool and lake and fished this year.
Curly was really happy to be able to move about in the water. She can touch in the shallow end now and is really proud of herself. She has gotten over a lot of her fears and is having more fun in the water. She loved sneaking up on Grandaddy and splashing him.

He went down the slide and had some fun splashing around.
But his activities of choice were running beside the pool, playing with the hose ("hose pipe"as they say in Alabama - that one is for you Keith!) and his favortie pasttime of all....SWEEPING!
The boy loves to get his hands on a broom or vacuum cleaner. I'm going to remind him of this when he is a teenager and he has chores to do!
