{ Independence Day }

We spent July 4th at the lake in Alabama.
(Prepare yourself for picture overload!)

Cousins hanging out at the pool (14 and 15 years old)

Pictures of our family in our red, white, and blue.

Big Sister - 14
(and looking much older than that in this picture)

Little Sister - 3 1/2

Little Man - 18 months

Then we changed into our traditional Old Navy tshirts from Ronda.

Ronda and her family in their tshirts

Somehow we didn't get a picture of Grandaddy and Grandmother together in their shirts. Here is Grandaddy at dinner.

We had a huge meal as usual! Hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken, potato salad, baked beans, and corn on the cob. And this year we bought ribs and a Boston Butt from......

(It's pretty hilarious when you drive by and see a sign that says "BUTTS TO GO"!)

And for dessert...

 Later that night the kids made homemade ice cream with Grandaddy. The Boy was really interested and loved adding the ice to the ice cream maker.

When it got dark, the kids did some sparklers and Jonathan set off some other fireworks for them.

Then the big kids went to see fireworks with Ronda and the rest of us watched them from the balcony over the lake.

HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
