Little Man started taking a Little Explorers class at the rec center. He loves his school! He is very excited on school mornings that we drop his sister off at school and then take him. He'd be even happier if I just dropped him off at the door instead of going in with him. And DO NOT make the mistake of calling it Little Explorers! He is not little! It is called Big Explorers!
The class was studying dinosaurs so he wore a dinosaur shirt on the first day. The teacher let me come into the class and after a few minutes he said to me, "You can go out now. This is MY school."
He loves that on Wednesday mornings he and his sister are both getting ready for school. Here they both are before school. He's really proud of himself!
His teacher, Miss Lindsey, gave them dinosaurs to play with and a dinosaur egg.
We put the dinosaur egg in water and watched it for changes every day. They were really excited about the egg hatching.
I said it looked so creepy and he said, "It is not CWEEPY! Give it time to hatch and you'll see!"
And this little, cweepy dinosaur is still hanging around our house!
They also had some fun with volcanoes on their last day of class.
The next class is bugs and he's all about that! It's been great for him to have something of his own to do. He's lovin' it and growing up so fast!
