Today was Curly's last day of school before Christmas break. Parents were invited to their chapel service and then to the classroom for their Happy Birthday Jesus Party.
They both looked so cute dressed up! My attempt at a cute Christmas picture by the tree this morning was unsuccessful. Here we have Sicky and Grumpy by the tree!
Look who got to sit with his sister's class at Chapel. They were so cute singing together! He was so happy to be a part of her school day and her teacher was really sweet to include him in everything.
The birthday party for Jesus was a lot of fun! They all wore birthday hats and had a book exchange. Curly was not thrilled when she received a Toy Story book as her gift. She is into all things girl and classifies that as a "boy book". The teacher gave them all an owl book which is a class favorite and the school gave each student a Max Lucado story book. We had pizza, snacks, and a cookie cake.
Curly-Q helped me make these for her classmates and teacher. We attached magnets to the back so they can be hung on the refrigerator.
This is one of the gifts the students made for their parents. I love school project gifts and this is a really meaningful one! It's a canvas that I can hang each year at Christmas time.
I can't believe almost half of the school year is over! It has been a great year so far!
