Valdosta

We met my Mom in Valdosta for a night last week.

 

 

We were all happy to see her and spend some time together. Our hotel was right by Walmart, Gander Mountain, and Cheddar's restaurant.  Lunch at Cheddar's was great! Take a look at the onion ring display!

 

 

After we checked into our hotel, we went to Walmart and shopped the Halloween clearance. And these two found this fun little ride in the store.

 

 

They were wild, excited, tired and a handful! We were so full from lunch that we didn't even want to eat dinner. We picked up dessert from Cheddar's and happy meals for the kids. We went back to the hotel and ate leftovers from lunch and dessert.

 

My kids love hotels (cabins as Curly calls them). Here they are by a display in the lobby.

 

 

The next morning we had breakfast and then went to Gander Mountain. Someday I'd like to go back with rested children (or alone!) and really look around. Too bad we couldn't convince them to stay in this cart while we looked around the store!

 

 

We all headed home after Gander Mountain. Curly and Little Man were so tired. She finally gave in and fell asleep face down in her lap. He cried and cried then put the pillow over his face and was gone. It was a fun trip! So glad we were able to spend some time with my Mom.
