Curly-Q finally started perking up on Wednesday. I was really starting to get worried about her! She had been so sick and wouldn't even raise her head or walk. It was really good to see her upright, talking, eating a little, and even picking at her brother. Signs that she was feeling better!
They hung out, snacked a little and watched movies Wednesday morning. Little Man seemed to be less congested and better than he had been also.
By Wednesday afternoon, I knew we were headed in the right direction when I found Curly with a notebook and a pen. Her favorite thing to do is draw. She is draws ALL DAY LONG on a normal day. And then, they asked to paint and they actually sat and painted for an hour!
Thursday morning we drove through the school drop off line to pick up her work from her teacher. She opened the door and gave Curly a hug and gave us all of the Thanksgiving things she had made at school and all of the work she missed. They were happy to see each other! That afternoon, they both got busy on their schoolwork. Miss Rhonda sent two of one worksheet home and Brother was happy to sit and color a turkey with his sister.
I'm so glad they are both feeling better! Now we can get ready for Thanskgiving!
