After the Chick-fil-A and Texas Roadhouse night, we switched the children the next day and spent some time with the other one.
Curly-Q has really been missing her Daddy. They went to Target to look at toys, books, and movies. She loves to just browse the toys without being rushed. She came home with a Lalaloopsy doll and the movie Pocahantas and was grinning from ear to ear.
(for some reason she was looking at the boy's toys)

Little Man just had to wear his rain boots when he went out with me. And I've got to admit, I've always thought there is something so adorable about little boys in boots -- even boots with shorts!
We decided to go get a donut because what better way is there to start the day! But on the way, we saw this in a parking lot and just had to stop and take a look.
Then we got our donut and headed to one of his favorite spots in town....
the construction site of the new hospital.
He always sees the construction site and asks, "Can I get out and play in that dirt?? I will be weally, weally, careful!" Of course I didn't let him get out but we did go up to the fence and look around. He'd be in heaven if he could get into this and make a huge mess...
He loved the crane and kept asking if he could climb way up high on it. And again he promised he'd be weally, weally careful.
And just before we left, the Goodyear blimp flew over us. Boys are so simple and easy! It doesn't take much to entertain him!
