It was Father Son Football Night at Chick-fil-A last Saturday night. I signed the guys up and they headed out for a man's night.
They were greeted at the door by people dressed in referee uniforms and ordered at the counter. They were seated and the food was brought to them on plates.
They had football decor on the tables and a list of conversation starters about football. I think Little Man was just happy to play with it all. He was really excited that he got a football to bring home.
After dinner, they were served ice cream and someone came around with toppings for them to choose from.
Even though he was a little young for football night, he had fun being out with just his Daddy. He hasn't stopped talking about it since. The morning after he said, "Mommy, I just need a little bit of football night." And every time we pass Chick-fil-A he excitedly says, "There's football night!!"
While they went out, I took Curly to the place of her choice. She chose Texas Roadhouse because she wanted to go eat peanuts and bread! She loved that we sat at a table for two and there wasn't room for anyone else in our family.
