Curly was so excited to go to school today! It is her teacher's birthday. And birthdays are a big deal...a really big deal when you are in preschool. She couldn't wait to get there and give her these birthday balloons!
She was so sweet to sit down and read her brother a book before school today. She is trying really hard and he is quite impressed. He just sat quietly and listened and then said, "You know how to read now???"
After we dropped Curly off at school, we went to Walmart and then to his long overdue haircut appointment. He sits so still and loves to go see Miss Jessica for a haircut.
And when I tried to get a better picture, this is what I got. I just gave up on the little joker and had to laugh when I looked at these.
He was thrilled when we picked his sister up from school because Miss Rhonda told him that his sister had a surprise for him. Since it was her birthday she gave everyone a lollipop and also gave them lollipops for their siblings.
I love riding home from school and listening to their sweet conversations. They do miss each other and have so much to tell each other when they are back together after a morning apart. Today she told him that his new haircut looked really cute. He usually tells her what we did and if he got any kind of treat he is sure to mention that. They are close and I hope they always will be!
