Aquarium

We took a surprise trip into the city to the aquarium! The last time we went Curly was a baby and she doesn't remember so this was new experience and so much fun for them! They were so excited and ready for a fun day.

As we walked through the entrance, there was a diver cleaning the tank. They were so interested in him! He swam down, got right in front of their faces, and waved to them.

They loved standing at the big aquariums looking at the fish and stingrays. They were thrilled to see sharks and the huge whale shark.

Another fun way to view the aquarium...

In the tunnel searching for penguins alone because their Mom got claustrophobic and had to back out of the tunnel. I tried, but just couldn't do it! It was so small that Little Man was the only one who could stand up in it!

They both really enjoyed the 4D movie! Curly kept reaching out for things and laughing out loud. People around her were giggling at her.

We spent a long time at the Great Barrier Reef aquarium. Little Man was searching for Nemo. He said he couldn't find Nemo but he found Nemo's Dad. They really enjoyed the interactive screens at this display. They could find a fish in the tank and then find it's picture on the screen and learn the name and information about the fish.

They were happy to find Dorie in the tank! And Little Man loved the hawkfish (an ugly fish with a weird nose). He kept looking at it over and over and he is still talking about it!

We had a great day and they were so well behaved! They were so excited about their surprise day and had so much fun!
