We went on a little getaway to Alabama to see our new city this week. Little Man kept saying we were going to Alabama with a banjo on our knee (from the song Old Susannah). We had lunch then went to the splash pad. It is such a neat little place and they loved it!
Curly had a great time running around and making new friends.
And anywhere that you can just run free is a hit with this guy! He loved standing with his back to the water fountains.
They both loved this piano! The keys made noises when you stepped on them.
They completely wore themselves out. Little Man had missed his nap and was fading fast. His last bit of time there was spent like this...eyes closed and all...
And then they ended their time at the splash pad like this.
We met up with Jonathan and they were so happy to see him! We checked into our hotel and brought dinner in to eat. They took a quick dip in the pool, watched a movie in bed, then were off to bed.
Too bad they didn't sleep that peacefully all night. Whew..it was a long night!
