The local strawberry farm opened up at the beginning of the month and the strawberry plants were so full of ripe berries.
Little Miss stuck close to her Daddy because she was afraid there would be bugs in the strawberry plants. She was not real happy about being there!
Little Man figured it out really quickly and was happy to help pick (and eat) strawberries.
It wasn't long before we had two buckets full of strawberries!
As we were leaving the farm, we passed this area of "farm stuff" that was taped off so people couldn't get into it. Of course, you know who thought it was great and was trying his best to get in there. He asked me, "What's that? That farmer in dell?" He'd have loved to get in there and mess with all of those goodies!
The strawberries were so ripe and so good! We ate a lot the first few days and then froze the rest for smoothies. We'll have to make another trip back before the season is over.
