We're going to have one disappointed boy when he realizes that winter is coming to a close and his job of getting firewood is over for now. I guess he can just keep playing with his "firewood" and bucket in the garage. I think he'd play with this for hours if we let him.

I go to a women's Bible study on Monday mornings. We're studying The Power of a Praying Wife which has been so good! The challenge is keeping the smallest children occupied while we study together. These little guys can get into trouble very quickly. But after our Bible study this week, this is how we found them on the front porch.

A little tree trimming this week was a family affair.

It was safety week around here. Little Man got a new bike helmet. And of course he prefers riding his sister's bike with training wheels over a tricycle. You know, riding a tricycle would be too age appropriate. I'm thinking of leaving him in this helmet 24/7.

Curly got a new car seat yesterday. Hers was expired and she needed a bigger one. They had been riding bikes while I installed the seat so she was still wearing her helmet when she jumped into the car to try it out.

This is like a flashback to the 60's....

Today she wanted to take the step stool into her room to get something. When I told her no she said, "Do you know it is everyone's privilege to do what they want to do? Mom's take care of their babies and kids do whatever they want to do. That's what taking care of kids is all about." Oh really??? She is full of big words and always trying to use them.
