Birthday Letter

Dear Son,

Has it really been two years since we brought you home from the hospital? Two years since we were blessed with a son? Since your sisters became big sisters to a brother? It seems like yesterday, but I can't remember life before you either.

You are such a great combination - 100% boy, but also very sweet. You are just what we hoped for! You are rowdy, loud, and happy most of the time. You love to play with balls, vacuum the floors, and anything outdoors. You LOVE your Daddy! You want to be with him all the time, you follow him everywhere, and cry when he leaves home. If you are standing next to him and he takes a few steps, you do the same. You also love to follow your sister around and do everything she does.

You love to sing and listen to music! You know so many songs. Every night you ask me to sing "Bible loves me so" (Jesus Loves Me) and you can sing it word for word. It is always followed by Twinkle Twinkle and the ABC song. You love to sing a song from Nemo, a song form Tangled, and Happy Birthday. You can count to ten, say your ABCS, you recognize the letter A, and you say hundreds of words. Just recently you've begun talking in full sentences. You are absolutely crazy about the movie, Polar Express. You ask for it a lot, multiple times a day.

You are wearing size 24 months or 2T in most things and you weigh 28 lbs. When you go to the Doctor for your checkup next week, we'll find out how tall you are.

You add a lot of life to this home and keep us laughing. You are so cuddly and sweet sometimes and it just melts my heart. We are so thankful for you and that God chose us to be your parents. We pray that we will always be Godly parents to you, teaching you about Jesus, how much He loves you and all that He has done for you. We pray that you will always know how precious you are Him and that He has a wonderful purpose for your life. May you know Him at a young age and serve Him always!
