My boy and I went to a pumpkin patch last weekend to check some stuff out.

We are having Curly- Q's birthday party there in a couple weeks.

He had a great time and loved the ghourds.

He looks like such a baby in these pictures which I love because his face usually looks so mature.

 

Then he decided to get up and pick one up and you know what happens next..

It became a ball. Because you see, everything is a ball to him!

We have some new pets! Actually, we have 8 new pets.

Honestly, they are giving me the creeps!

I would die if they got out in my house.

Here they are.......

This is AJ's biology project for the year.  We have two containers of caterpillars and are keeping them in two different environments. One container is on the mantle and the other is in the kitchen by my cell phone. Believe it or not, the ones by my cell phone have grown much quicker than the others. They are all starting to cocoon and then we will move them into another container. We've had them for 8 days and their containers are getting more dirty by the day. I dread the day we open these containers and move the cocoons.

In a few weeks, we will be on vacation with my family from Florida in the mountains. I cannot wait! I miss them so much!

AJ made a big batch of homemade chicken and dumplings last weekend.

They were really good.
