{ The Farm - Part 3 - Hayride }

This is not your typical hayride! You sit in the middle of the trailer on a long benchlike seat and they take you out into the middle of a pasture and stop. All the cows (LOTS of cows)come up to the trailer and you can feed them the hay.

The Little Cowboy had a great time throwing hay on people!

They kept throwing it on people's legs, then he'd wipe it off. They were both cracking up with huge belly laughs!

And these cows are not shy! Either you feed them or they will just stick their heads right in and get it!

I love Buddy Boy's face in this picture!

Check out that tongue!

And then Curly-Q's nose started itching, and itching, and itching. She sneezed almost the entire way home! She must have a hay allergy.

One of my favorite pictures ever...

At the end of the hayride, the farmer drove us over to a cow with her newborn calf. The calf had just been born the night before.

We made one last stop at the slide before we left. It is a huge plastic pipe that you slide through. Big enough for adults too!
They went again and again until it was too dark for us to see them anymore.

Such a fun experience! Going to the farm in October is a tradition that we always look forward to and one that I hope our children will always remember. Some of our best fall memories are there!
