We spent last weekend at the lake in Alabama with Jonathan's family. The boats were working and the jet skiis were in the water so we were able to have some fun on the lake.
Saturday afternoon we took the boat to eat a late lunch at the marina. Curly-Q loved the boat ride! Can't you tell by the look on her face?
Brother liked it for the most part but I think he was hot in his life jacket and didn't like having to sit down for so long. He sure looked cute though!
Daddy and the little ones. The boy is definitely happier when he's with his Daddy.
And me with the little ones. Pardon my WILD hair! We were going pretty fast. Unfortunately, this is the only picture of me from the entire weekend. I can hear it now...years from now...MOM! YOUR HAIR!
When we left the marina, the older three rode "Big Mable" for a while. This picture is like a flashback from the summer of 2005, our first summer in Alabama. Except that they've all doubled in size! It's hard to believe they are all teenagers now! Ages 13, 14, and 15.
There is this place where people climb up a big rock and jump off into the water and jump off a rope swing. We stopped to watch and the twins decided to jump off the boat and cool off.
Then Little Man realized his Daddy was in the water and had to get in too!
The three oldest decided to swim over and try out the rope swing. Curly-Q was cheering her Big Sister on from the boat.
And she got real brave and did it! Here she goes...
Then Little Sister got real brave and decided she wanted to ride "Big Mable" on the way home. She was pretty proud of herself!
It was a fun day on the water! And we all slept GOOD!
