It has been HOT!
We've been trying to get outside to play early in the day because it just gets too hot very quickly. Summer time without water to play in is hard. We are always trying to figure out a way to be outside and still cool off.
The only downside to early outings is the teeny bopper does not always join us for two reasons.
1. These types of things are not worth waking up for.
2. She is busy catching up on sleep this summer.
We went downtown one morning right when we woke up and had breakfast at a cute little restaurant. Then the Littles played in the fountain. Curly had a great time throwing pennies in the fountain while Little Man made trips back and forth from the landscaping with handfuls of mulch to put on the fountain.
Then they put their feet in the fountain and cooled off a bit.
Then they ran like crazy and wore themselves out before we came home!
