Trip to the Dentist

Look Mom, no cavities!

She had her first cleaning today. She went right in alone and had a great check up. She was especially excited about the goodie bag they gave her with a new princess toothbrush, mouthwash, and some little toys.

We got a second opinion from our dentist about the boy's teeth. She said there is a very small chance that the root in his gum will be a problem. She suggested leaving it. She also said it is really good that he didn't lose his eye teeth as they are the stabilizers and will keep all of the back teeth in place. The front teeth may shift a little, but we won't be able to prevent that. That was great news and I felt so relieved after being there!

He even got a new toothbrush and a rubber ducky. Nothing like having two dentist visits under your belt already at 14 months old, huh?

Next up - getting the Big Sister in for a cleaning. And sometime this summer she should be getting her braces off!
