The Farm { 4/8/11}

There are a couple local farms that open up in the Spring so the public can come see their new babies. During AJ's Spring Break, we took a trip to one of them. It was a looonnngg drive, but very well worth it. There's nothing like a farm! It was nice to experience farm life, smell the fresh air way out in the country, and see all of the new baby animals. Sorry for the picture overload. They are just too cute not to share with you!

Stick horses

Baby duck and chicks - 5 or 6 days old

She really LOVED the corn box. It was a huge area filled with corn!

The petting zoo had a baby lamb and goat that were 5 weeks old, a rabbit, ducks, and a pot belly pig. I was afraid Brother might step on them so he peeked through the pen. He thought they were really funny!

 Little Sister thought it was great to be up close and personal with the animals. It really was a one of a kind experience.

And the Big Sis - this wasn't a ton of fun for her, but she was a good sport about it all.

I think we'll definitely be going back next year. It was a great intro to Spring!
