Yesterday we had lunch at the mall and shopped. Yes, we pretty much shopped til we dropped! Our feet were actually starting to hurt. The little ones were real troopers and hung in there with us. It was fun though and we got some GREAT deals. AJ got to shop in some of her dream stores and she got some really cute things. It's was one of those trips where God went before us and prepared the way and we came away with much more than we expected! Like these Abercrombie sweatshirts regularly priced at $80 that were on sale for $14. Fourteen was the magic number of the day! I should have chosen one for myself and didn't even think of it! Between the blaring music and the overwhelming smell of cologne, all I could think of was getting out of that place. The boy was dancing to the music and Curly was holding her ears asking if we could leave please. Then I thought maybe I should shop here more often. I couldn't even hear my kids. It was almost as if I were shopping alone!
We took this picture of ourselves before we left for the mall.

And a picture of the bday girl with her little brother and sister...
I made chicken n' rice (by request) for dinner, our neighbors came over to see the bday girl, and then we had ice cream cake. AJ outgrew her milk allergy this year so it was quite appropriate to have an ice cream cake for this birthday.
Here's to year #15! I hope it is a great one for her and I hope it goes nice and slow! She'll be driving next year at this time and I'm not sure if I'm ready for that yet.
