Surgery Day 3/25/11

     She did it! She's a little trooper! She sailed right through the morning being hungry and thirsty. She reminded me when she woke up that she couldn't have anything to drink and then right before we left for the hospital she announced, "I forgot to eat breakfast!!!"

her when she arrived for surgery.

     Her nurse, Miss Mary, wheeled her out for surgery and before we knew it Dr. Vick came to  tell us she was all done and in the recovery room.  He said the tubes went in great and her ears weren't infected at the time. We are hoping this relieves her of reoccuring ear infections.

     Sweet Pea was feeling pretty bad after she came out of recovery and the nausea continued throughout the day. We called the Doctor and he called in some zofran which did the trick. She took a long nap and woke up like a new child!  She asked if I'd call Miss Mary (her nurse) and find out where she got that blueberry medicine that she made her smell because it smelled really good. Hoping our days ahead are healthy and free of ear infections!
